Even before this time, basil was believed to have a Holistic significance, and its leaves were sprinkled in the holy water in Churches. Basil was nicknamed as the Queen of Herbs due to its unique and incomparable properties. Basil oil is the Steam Distilled Extract of the Leaves and Flowers of Basil Herb. This oil contains potent anti- oxidants, anti-fungal, anti-viral and anti-microbial properties and also include chemical components such as A-pinene, B-pinene, Eugenol and Geraniol. Basil oil is thus claimed to be positive for stress relief, purify blood, itchy skin, muscle relaxation, mood enhancement and hair growth.”

Directions of Use

Diffusion: Use three to four drops in the diffuser of choice.

Topical use: Apply one to two drops to desired area. Dilute with Our Earth's carrier oils to minimise any skin sensitivity.
