Egyptians used the Cedarwood for the embalming of their dead for preservation. Cedarwood oil is extracted from the wood and roots of the Tree, through the process of steam distillation. Cedarwood Oil is said to be Anti-inflammatory, Anti-spasmodic, Anti-fungal, Anti-septic, Anti-oxidant, emmenagogue and detoxifying.
